I am a writer, beginner farmer, and manufactured/modular home installer working from my hometown of Knoxville, TN. I have a B.A. in History from Berry College in Rome, Georgia where I met my wife, Mary, who I share two sons with.

At my day job, I manage training and development for HouseSmart Construction, a division of Clayton Homes. This allows me to manage the growth of off-site construction home professionals, which I deeply passionate about.

I contribute to a number of outdoor publications with articles generally covering fishing and hunting. Additionally, I manage our family’s 60 acre farm in Roane County, Tennessee.
